Google, which is the most popular and most used search engine in the world, is where most of us perform the searches on a daily basis.  Let’s take a look at the statistics and learn which brands are being searched for more than others.

The Top Brand in the World is…

While the US has been looked at as one of the leading markets for the automotive industry for many years, it’s interesting to see which car brands are being searched for the most in America. The top brand was Toyota which was also the most searched brand in more countries than any other car brand with 57 different countries searching for the Toyota brand more than any other brand on the market. It shouldn’t come as any surprise that the brand that has been one of the largest in the entire market is searched more than any other.

Coming Up Second

The BMW brand is the second-place brand in the world with 25 countries showing up on the list as the top brand that’s searched for in their area. This luxury brand is considered one of the most active and impressive and it offers a wide variety of amazing luxury vehicles that can offer the sportiness we want, the athleticism that we love to see, and the quality that makes it a brand that carries a great deal of cache. Those looking for a luxury model have looked for this brand as the leader in that class and the leader in several countries.

In the Third Spot

Because of the second-place brand, the third-place brand shouldn’t surprise anyone. Mercedes-Benz is third on the list with 23 countries searching for the vehicles from this brand the most. It seems that once we get past the reliability of Toyota many countries are looking for the German luxury offered by BMW and Mercedes-Benz to be the cars that can offer an elegant and sophisticated drive. Mercedes-Benz certainly does offer a different type of drive with the comfort and style that you love to see when you’re ready to get on the road and feel the quality you admire.

Tesla was the most searched for brand in seven countries, most notably China, which is the largest market in the world. Near the bottom of the list was Pagani, which isn’t a surprise, but one that is a surprise is Acura, which was the bottom of the mass-production cars in terms of being searched for. Chrysler also found its way near the bottom of all brands searched, but with only a few models wearing the brand name, that’s not a big surprise at all.
