Starting in January you’re going to be able to choose the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer to drive on the road. We’re excited to see this classic SUV model coming back to life.
The base model will be the L trim and it will be offered at a price that starts at less than $30,00 to give you the drive you want to experience. This new model is one that brings back a classic Blazer name that’s been offered by Chevrolet in the past. You’re going to admire what this new version of the SUV name that we’ve loved in the past brings for the drive you want to make.
What Will be Included in the Chevy Blazer?
The entry-level model of the Blazer will be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 193 horsepower and is attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This SUV will be set up in FWD to give you the fuel mileage you’re looking for. Inside this SUV you’re going to find an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that brings you Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and standard OnStar Wi-Fi to offer the hotspot you need. There’s also an electronic locking glove box, dual-zone climate controls, a six-way manual driver’s seat, and 18-inch wheels.
More Choices in the New Chevrolet Blazer
While the Blazer L trim is a great place to start your drive, there are more choices for this SUV. You can have the sporty looking Blazer RS or the top of the lineup model which is the Blazer Premier. Both of these models will be powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that’s attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission for the drive. While FWD is standard on both of these models, you can have the addition of the twin-clutch AWD system to give you the added controls you want when you take this model for a drive.
If you choose the RS model, you’ll have a sporty RS grill, black exterior trim, black bowtie emblems, bright dual exhaust tips, and the choice of either 20 or 21-inch wheels. The Premier trim receives a chrome grill and exterior trim, a unique lower rear fascia, and a different set of wheels that are the same size as what’s offered for the RS model. You can opt for a dual-pane sunroof, a Hitch View camera, automatic heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated outboard rear seats, wireless charging, six USB ports, a hands-free power liftgate, adaptive cruise control, and a suite of active safety items for the drive.
The Name You Love Returns
We’ve missed the Chevrolet Blazer and its finally making a return to the market. While the new 2019 version is in a different class from the original, this is an excellent addition to the Chevrolet SUV lineup for us to be able to have the driving experience and quality ride that we want to enjoy every day. When January arrives, the new Blazer will be the SUV that we see on the streets as a new and impressive choice that you can experience every day.
