One of our favorite SUVs is coming back around again and it’s bringing a bit more style this time. Get ready for the Chevrolet Blazer.
There seems to be a trend in the automotive market of bringing back names that we’ve known in the past to join the current lineup of what we see on the market. Ford is bringing back the Ranger and Bronco, Jeep has the Gladiator on the way, and Chevrolet is adding the Blazer back to the mix.
This new trend is one we can certainly support and admire as we move forward with the vehicles that we’re going to want to drive. The new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer will shake up the two-row crossover SUV segment and give us the personality we want.
Design Makes a Difference in the Blazer
The early part of 2019 will be when we see the new Blazer at dealerships so that we can take advantage of the compelling design this SUV has for our enjoyment. This new model will join the broadest and freshest crossover lineup since 2015 to give us one more reason to choose the Chevrolet brand for the SUV you want to drive. There will be four trims offered to start with which will be L, Blazer, RS, and Premier and each one will have a unique look and set of features.
The New Blazer Looks Great
The new Chevrolet Blazer carries in a wide stance, tight proportions, and the dramatic sculpting you expect from the Chevrolet brand. The trim range and pricing will allow you to find and enjoy what you want to have in an SUV that can give you the features and qualities you want when you drive. For example, the RS model offers you blacked-out features while giving you a sporty driving personality while the Premier trim brings a smattering of chrome and a more upscale appearance to make it feel similar to a luxury SUV.
Several Standard Items in the Blazer
The new Chevrolet Blazer brings you the Chevy infotainment system with an eight-inch screen, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry, push-button starting, the Teen Driver feature, the Rear Seat Reminder feature, an HD rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate controls with rear vents, heated and power-adjustable outside mirrors, an adjustable sliding rear seat, 18-inch wheel, and more. This is an SUV that gives you a great place to start so that you can build the model that you want when it’s time to head out on the road for a drive.
Attributes You’ll Love from Chevrolet
When you visit your nearby Chevrolet dealership in January, you’ll find that the Chevy Blazer is powered by a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower with the optional power coming from a 3.6-liter V6 engine that has 305 horsepower. Both engines use a nine-speed automatic transmission. This SUV gives you up to 64.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the second row folded flat. This is, of course, considerably smaller than the Chevy Tahoe, but is in line with models like the Chevy Equinox. Get ready for the Chevrolet Blazer to return to the market to be the right SUV for you to have what you want when you drive around in your area.
