Cars You Might Love if you Live in a MINI World

Those that drive MINI models show off their personality with what they drive. These cars are sporty under the skin, look cartoonish and fun on the outside and offer a great deal of customizable ways to make them into something that resembles our own personality on the road. Because the MINI lineup is full if these quirky and uniquely fun cars to drive, I thought it would be fun to look at a group of cars that certainly should be attractive to anyone who loves the precision performance and unique designs offered on a MINI.

Lamborghini Miura – This car is a gorgeous coupe sports car that carries the classic curved designs that can make you mistake this beauty for a Ferrari when you see it from afar. This car is referred to as the first true supercar and has the mid-engine build that has been part of supercar builds for many years since.

Toyota 2000GT – You may not know this car well, but it certainly fits in the category as a unique supercar that comes at you with beautiful Asian style and a feel that’s similar to the Jaguar E-Type. This car offered a long hood and a short deck with a 2.0-liter six-cylinder engine under the hood. This might not sound like much, but this car has become a collectible for those who can find them.

Porsche 930 – While this car isn’t one that most of us would choose of the 911, the 930 is a car that has become an automotive icon. It was a bit raw compared to the dynamic drive of most Porsche models and offered a turbocharged engine that presented quite a bit of lag, but this is a car that you might have trouble finding now, making it an iconic collectible.

Porsche 914 – As another strange choice from the Porsche collection, the 914 is a car that wasn’t considered to be a high performance model at all. This car was at the bottom of the Porsche lineup and was thought of as an overpriced VW model more than a real Porsche. Because of its price it became one of the best-selling cars that Porsche ever had but it was cut from the lineup due to its place in the market and features that didn’t make it feel like a Porsche.

These four cars certainly fit the bill when it comes to what an owner of a MINI loves to drive. If you have had the fun of driving a MINI, but maybe want something a little bit older, these cars can be some of the best throwback items you could find. Certainly the Porsche 914 can be had for a fair price even today, this was a car that sold over 118,000 models during its time in production, which gives us plenty of them that could still be around for you to purchase. Even if you don’t want one of these and just want to stick to your MINI, you have to admit, these cars certainly fit in with the MINI models very nicely.
