Moving this Trio to Amazon Prime

The three hosts of the hit show, Top Gear are no longer with the show, but it appears they are about to make a serious splash of their own online. Much as Netflix is a popular streaming service that allows you to see some of your favorite shows again as well as giving you some original movies and series that have become popular through the service, Amazon is doing the same with its Prime Video market link and the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May who will make their way to Amazon Prime very soon.

This new show will be called, The Grand Tour, and it appears to be a perfect spinoff for the trio after their Top Gear days. These three made the show easy to watch and a lot of fun and based upon the trailer, which you can see in this video, this will be a new show with the three of them having a lot of fun breaking and reviewing vehicles to let us know what they think, how the vehicles perform and most of all, the fun they get to have on camera either driving the cars or making a lot of fun at each other’s expense.

The main focus of this new series isn’t going to just be the vehicles in the shows, but the trips the trio gets to take to see what they can find and why some of the roads and tracks of the world are considered to be the very best. This takes the best Top Gear had to offer, which was the adventures of the three hosts, and puts them as the center and focal point of the new show which gives us a fantastic new ride through the maze that is their world.

As much fun as these three have on camera with each other, the cherry on top of this sundae treat is the various cars they will present for us to enjoy riding along. During the trailer video you can see a LaFerrari, a McLaren P1, a Porsche 918, an Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, an Aston Martin DB11 and a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. While they won’t get into all these cars at one time, just knowing these cars made the cut to be in the trailer gives you the idea that they will be some of the exciting vehicles reviewed and discussed during the first few episodes of the show.

Other cars you see in the trailer seem to be beaters and oddly built machines, which can be just as fascinating to review and see what this trio of ornery chaps will come up with to do with these cars. This new series called, The Grand Tour, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 18 and give you a look at some of the most incredible cars and three of the funniest car guys you’ll ever get to know on any show.
