The 2022 GMC Terrain belongs to the increasingly popular crossover category and new models are selling fast. The Terrain spent an average of 18.7 days on dealer lots in January before being bought by customers. That makes it the 16th fastest-selling vehicle for January. Other Fast Sellers For January 2022
Along with the Telluride, some other fast-sellers for January include the Toyota Corolla with an average of 15.5 days on the lot, the Toyota Sienna with 16.5 days, the Acura MDX with 16.7 days, and the Toyota Ford Maverick with 16.8 days. The GMC Terrain sold for an average price of $34,513 in January, which is below the industry average of $42,104. 2022 GMC Terrain Refresh
The GMC Terrain enjoyed a model refresh for the 2022 model year. This is often called a mid-cycle update or enhancement in the automotive world. Originally, the Terrain was supposed to be updated in the 2021 model year, but the pandemic complicated this plan. The refresh was then slated for 2022. Some changes include an updated exterior design with new lights all around and a mild overhaul for the interior. The Terrain is still powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine that makes 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The GMC Terrain is built on the GM D2 platform along with the Buick Envision and Chevy Equinox.
If you’re looking to buy a 2022 GMC Terrain, it’s a good idea to contact your local dealer and get on a waiting list if necessary. The Terrain only spends a little over two weeks on most lots before being sold.
