Hyundai Ioniq 7: Revolutionizing Three-Row SUV Market

Hyundai Ioniq 7: Revolutionizing Three-Row SUV Market

The upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 7 could be a three-row SUV game changer with incredible exterior design and innovative features.

This new all-electric Hyundai three-row SUV brings some incredible, forward-thinking features that offer the look, style, and benefits drivers desire. The use of suicide doors means better access to the interior area, which can be difficult to navigate in some SUVs, but not the Ioniq 7. This new electric SUV provides the approach desired to make a huge impact in the EV market.

Could the new Hyundai Ioniq 7 be the right all-electric SUV for you? Here are seven reasons you’ll love the Ioniq 7.

New, Incredible Design From Hyundai

You won’t need to look at the Ioniq 7 exceptionally long to realize this SUV offers something different, better, and more unique than any other SUV. The attractive front end features pixelated headlights, which makes it one of the most interesting facias you’ll ever see. The roof slopes down toward the back, where you’ll find a full-length light bar that brings a complete futuristic look. This is probably the boldest approach to vehicle design that we’ve seen from Hyundai, making it a unique and forward-styled SUV.

A Lightshow is Part of the Deal With the Ioniq 7

Everywhere you go, people will stop and stare at your new Hyundai Ioniq 7. Not only will they admire the impressive style and presence of this SUV, but they’ll love the light show approach that offers a set of headlights made of 700 parametric pixels. These small, square LED lights can be arranged in different patterns to create an incredible light show or animated message. These lights also offer the desired practicality with adjustments to project different beams depending on the driving situation.

The Suicide Doors Make a Comeback

Rear-hinged, or suicide doors aren’t anything new in the automotive world. These doors were recreated for modern Rolls-Royce vehicles and were extremely popular in the 1930s. Although this means two large doors meeting together with no B-pillar, there’s a practical purpose for these doors. With both doors open, a large space is available in this Hyundai electric SUV to allow easy access to the rear seats, cargo area, and any other part of the Ioniq 7.

The Ioniq 7 Shares EV Architecture

The Hyundai lineup of electric vehicles is growing quickly, and they all have one thing in common: the E-GMP platform. This platform is the term used for Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform, which is used for the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kia EV6, and Genesis GV60. The platform is versatile and helps provide uniformity for engineers. Using a global platform allows Hyundai to sell EVs at more affordable prices than other models. This is good for consumers, and it makes the job better for engineers building these Hyundai EVs.

There Should Be Plenty of Power

We don’t know how much power the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will offer, but we’re quite sure it will be impressive. The Ioniq 7 is a three-row electric SUV, which means more weight and size to move. The current Ioniq 5 produces 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque, with the upcoming Ioniq 5 N version listed at nearly 600 horsepower. Although we don’t know the power numbers yet, we can venture a guess at nearly 400 horsepower for the new Ioniq 7.

Driving Range Is a Must for This Hyundai SUV

The new Ioniq 7 is a family-sized electric SUV, which means the driving range is important. If you thought kids were impatient while waiting for a gas car to fill up, imagine them waiting even longer for batteries to recharge. The new Ioniq 7 should have at least 310 miles of range and be equipped with 800-volt fast charging capabilities. This could enable the Ioniq 7 to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.

An Interior You’ll Want to Occupy

The new Hyundai Ioniq 7 features a flat floor in all three rows, seats that swivel and move to create a lounge area, and inviting space, giving this SUV one of the largest cabin areas in its class. There’s a huge OLED screen that is also the panoramic sunroof, which gives this new Hyundai SUV a truly futuristic appearance. These features were present in the concept version of this SUV, but safety and cost constraints might mean we won’t see some of them in the production version.

Will the new Hyundai Ioniq 7 become the three-row, family-sized electric SUV you love to drive? We’ll know more about this new EV as we get closer to its release date.
