The Hyundai Ioniq 5 will begin production in the United States next year. This move could allow the EV Hyundai SUV to qualify for the federal EV tax credit.
Recently, Hyundai Motor Group announced it will begin at its new assembly plant in Bryan County, Georgia. This will begin with the Ioniq 5, but there could be several additional electric SUVs built at this plant in the future.
