Another Amazing Audi on the Big Screen

For a few years, Audi has found its way into the movies we love to watch and enjoy when it’s time for some great entertainment.

We’ve seen the Audi sleek and stylish models offered in movies from I, Robot to Iron Man, and several others in between. Strangely enough, Audi has transcended the photography and detail of the movies that have living characters in them, which means they are now going to put their cars into an animated version to give us a look at what their next supercar can be.

A bit of a Fallacy

Ok, the Audi brand hasn’t transcended cinematography, but that’s a pretty cool idea to think about. Even so, the next Audi supercar will show up in an animated movie that we will see next year. The new superstar of the movie will be the Audi RSQ e-tron which will depict a hybrid supercar that captures all the performance and style that you want from the four-ring brand. Of course, this car has to be driven by one of the coolest characters in the world and the animated character will be played by Will Smith.

The New Movie with an Audi

The trailer below will give you an idea of the premise of this new movie that will be called Spies in Disguise. We’re certainly hoping this new car won’t be destroyed by a group of robots played by Alan Tudyk. In fact, some of the story of this new movie has to do with getting some revenge for the last time that Tudyk destroyed the Audi RSQ, which means there’s an underlying story beyond the obvious to give us a look at what we can enjoy as an Audi part of the plot and story during this animated film.

Will this New Supercar Make it to the Market

The original RSQ that was destroyed on film was inspired by the Le Mans Quattro connect which became the R8 that we’ve loved. Right now, the R8 doesn’t have a new model that will be offered as a follow up to the car, we’ve heard some rumors that there won’t be any more V10-powered supercars offered by Audi. That doesn’t stop the brand from offering us a hybrid model that can have a specially tuned V8 engine to offer the power we can enjoy and admire in an Audi supercar.

What Does the Animated Audi Appear to Be?

The animated designs are speculative at best and the movie is about surprises which doesn’t mean we’re going to see this Audi on the roads. What the car does look like is an electric form of the R8. Could we see an R8 e-tron in the future? It’s hard to say, but the movie and the car can offer us an excellent way for the e-tron name to be shared and, hopefully, become more popular.
