A Look at the New Ford Bronco

The recent dealer meeting in Las Vegas of the Ford brand showed off images of what the new Ford Bronco will be when it arrives on the market for the 2020 model year. This new version of the SUV that we’ve been missing for a long time gives us the thought that we will have a fantastic off-road brute that will be impressive when it arrives. This excellent SUV is what we want, but the pictures that were offered does leave us with a few questions regarding what the Bronco will compete with.

What do we See in the new Ford Bronco?

On the front of the new Ford Bronco, we see a pair of superbly retro round LED headlights that pay serious homage to the original Bronco. These headlights flank a grill that features the word FORD prominently displayed in block letters which appear to be illuminated. This is a look that we saw in some of the teaser images that were officially released by Ford in the past, which allows us to think this is what the new Ford Bronco will offer when it arrives on the market for the 2020 model year.

Looking at the Side of the Bronco

The profile of this new Ford Bronco gives us a look at an SUV that offers square lines and a vent that’s placed ahead of the front door. There’s a character line that finishes up in the side glass in the rear of the vehicle. The roof is stylish and allows you to see a view that makes this SUV look like it can handle the ride and cut through the air without any trouble at all. Put the front and the side together and you see a Bronco that might be exactly what we want to enjoy on the roads and trails.

Chunky Styling to Compete With…

The new Ford Bronco looks like it offers a square build, a chunky appearance, and the size we want. While it’s not the sizable SUV that was the original Bronco, its built to fit in the market right where we seem to have the most traction; the compact SUV class. Because of this, the new Ford Bronco looks like it will take on the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and not the Jeep Wrangler. This still going to be a Jeep competitor, but it won’t be the Jeep that we expected Ford to be aiming at with this new Bronco.

What Will the Off-Road Bronco be Called?

The view we received from the dealer meeting gives us the idea that the standard Bronco won’t be built with an off-road package. That leaves us wondering what the off-road version will be called. Will it carry the name FX4 like the rest of the Ford off-road lineup or will it maybe take on the name of Adrenalin? It seems we still have questions, including the power level of this SUV, and we won’t have answers to those questions until the production version is displayed for our enjoyment.
