Upgrading Toughness in the Ram 1500

Upgrading Toughness: Ram 1500

Typically, when you take a look at the Ram 1500 pickup truck, you think of a tough machine that’s built for the power and the work that needs to get done when you’re ready to get out on the road. This is a truckthat doesn’t typically get thought of as a vehicle that offers comfort or the upgraded connectivity we desire in today’s world. With the need to have more electronics than ever, the expectation is that we’ll see an amazing new model of the Ram 1500 when it arrives at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show in January.

This new model of the Ram 1500 is expected to be the one we’ll see for the 2019 model year, and it should be just as tough and mean looking as what we’ve come to know and understand for many years. The item that is capturing our attention as we get a look at this truck in spy photos that have been released ahead of schedule is an item that sits in the center of the dashboard for our admiration and use. With this new item, there is a chance we’re going to have the connectivity we want in the Ram.

Sitting Pretty in the Center

As you take a look at the center of the dashboard you’ll see a large and impressive infotainment screen that will be able to give you the connectivity you want from the Uconnect 4.0 system which is the latest version of this system. While we don’t know the size of the screen, it’s safe to say this impressive screen is one that rivals what you find a Tesla model and might make Elon Musk a bit jealous that FCA was able to add this excellent item to the truck you want to drive on the road.

Even though this screen will have a ton of touchscreen features and give you the qualities you want, there will also be some buttons that flank the screen to add more controls that will feel intuitive. The Ram 1500 that will be offered for the 2019 model year will also have items including self-park assist, lane keep assist, a built-in trailer brake and other systems that will help make trailering and towing much easier for you. We also expect to have a key fob that offers remote control access for the height in a truck that has the air suspension to make loading and unloading much easier for you.

We expect to have and see more details about this new 2019 Ram 1500 and the Ram 2500HD when it makes its way to the market after being shown off in Detroit at the beginning of this upcoming year. This truck will be an impressive upgrade in the toughness you’re looking for when you have a lot of work to do on a daily basis. Now that it will be offered with improved technology and a screen that’s massive and extremely useful, this truck has everything you’re looking for if the time for you to have a new truck is coming up in the next couple of years.
