There are plenty of automotive social networks out there. All of them have strengths and weaknesses, but one in particular is rapidly becoming the best place to go for true best practices that car dealers can take advantage immediately.
The network is Dealer Bar. The mission is to provide best practices. The style is one that is currently only offered at Dealer Refresh – vetted content. Dealer Bar will have an editor who determines which content gets published. It won’t be duplicate content – everything on Dealer Bar will be unique. It won’t be promotional – everything on Dealer Bar will be helpful.
This is not to take away from any of the other networks out there. They all have a place in the industry and bring great value. Dealer Bar simply wants to be different. The focus is on high quality content and allowing for interactions with multiple authors.
While the site won’t have as much content as sites like Driving Sales, it will hopefully be more honed and “action-ready” for dealers. That’s the goal.
