Spreading the Fun in Hyundai SUVs

Spreading the Fun in Hyundai SUVs

There is a new sub-brand coming to the market and the company that’s bringing it to us isn’t being shy about how they use it. Hyundai has created the new N performance division to apply performance equipment and items to a variety of models. The most hotly anticipated model to come from this brand is the i30 N which won’t be offered as the first N model in North America, but will eventually join the market. The Veloster N is the model that we know will be offered as the first model for us from this brand, but Hyundai has mentioned plans to make this brand reach out to a variety of other models.

The expectation is that we’ll see the N brand offered as part of the lineup for the cars from Hyundai, but recent information tells us the performance features will make their way to the lineup of Hyundai SUVs as well. The first to gain these qualities could be the Tucson and Kona Hyundai SUVs that are possibly the right choices for these performance items. In order to understand more about what could be part of the equation we need to discuss what the new N brand can bring to the market.

The new i30 N

The debut model is a small car that offers you 271 horsepower for the fun and active drive around Europe. This is a hot hatch model that uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to offer up this impressive power number when using the optional performance package. If you don’t have the performance package installed this car shows up with 247 horsepower to still be an incredible drive. The standard wheels under this car will be 18-inches in size and upgraded to 19-inch models when the performance package is installed. You can also have more powerful brakes, a rear chassis brace, and a mechanical differential for the drive.
These are just a few of the items that can be offered on this car, but you get the idea of how the N brand will upgrade the power, performance, and grip of a model. Adding these items to the Tucson, the Kona, or even the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport could make an enormous difference in the performance, fun, and activity you’ll get to enjoy when you decide to purchase one of these models from this performance brand that can be right for you when you’re ready to head out on the roads in your Hyundai model.

If Not in Hyundai SUVs…

We will have much better idea of what the N sub-brand will be when the Veloster N shows up on the market. This new model of the Veloster should show up at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit at the beginning of the new calendar year in order to have the drive you’re looking for. The drive you want on the road could be with the excellent features and qualities offered for you to have the drive you want with the performance you need from the N brand when you want to head out with some increased power and abilities in a vehicle that’s been tuned up from the factory.
