New Looks on a Hot Car

The folks at Porsche have been winning our love and admiration for many years with the vehicles that we love to drive on the track or on the road. The most iconic and varied sports cars from Porsche is the 911. This is a car that comes in so many forms that it could be its own brand, and we love the choices we can make to see the variety and the performance that can be enjoyed. The updates that were brought to the Porsche 911 GT3 makes this car one of the most performance-focused cars on the market, but we’re about to see an upgraded version of this car.

This new model of the 911 GT3 that we’ll see soon is the new GT3 RS. This car is expected to be track focused and ready to go while adopting some of the looks and qualities from the GT2 RS. Those items we should see include the front end area while the rear end is expected to be brand new with updated 911 taillights to give this track-oriented model the right qualities to make the drive and exhilarating fun that you want to have out on tracks in your area.

In order to have a seriously upgraded performance model of the GT3 to create the GT3 RS the improvements, we’ll love to experience will be under the hood. There should be a new 4.2-liter six-cylinder engine to power this car which will replace the outgoing 4.0-liter engine. This will increase the horsepower number from 500 to 540 to give us more of the excitement we’ve been waiting for. The transmissions offered will be the seven-speed dual clutch PDK and six-speed manual that is currently offered on the updated GT3 to make the RS model the right track model to drive.

As a new track model of this performance car, you’ll be able to head out on the track and turn some of the most impressive laps. The new NACA-duct hood will give you the same look at the GT2 RS and the addition of some excellent power makes it possible for you to have an exceptional way to have the driving you want. This car is on that won’t just be offered for track driving but also be comfortable and engaging enough to be right for the driving you want to experience out on the road to make this a car you can drive anytime.

We should see this new and updated RS model of the GT3 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September to receive a full look at what the new GT3 RS and what it will be for the driving we want to enjoy out on the track. The sales for this car should begin before the end of this year in Europe and make its way to us in the US by some time in the early part of next year. This is a car we’ll absolutely enjoy when it heads to market and should be expected to be a car that will be perfect for us to drive.
