Faraday Future Shows More Legitimacy than Ever
How can an upstart company show that it’s serious about building a car or any product that we may want to purchase? What does it take for us to realize new brands are going to come to the market and be some of the brands that will eventually be highly recognized and capable of providing us with products we want? Until a product actually goes to market the investment and work are all usually part of the ownership of the company to ensure the item is ready for the public. This takes a belief in a company and an idea.
Backed by Chinese investors, Faraday Future has shown up in various ways starting with the Consumer Electronics Show earlier in the year. At this point the company and the vehicle that it’s working on were nothing more than an idea. Since then we’ve seen silhouettes of what this company might be capable of bringing to the market for us to enjoy, but not much more than that. Is the money of the Chinese investors being used wisely or will this be another company that goes by the wayside as just an idea someone had?
Recent announcements coming from Faraday Future gave us the news that they have hired their 1,000th employee in America. That’s a telling story alone because so far the company hasn’t produced a product that it can take to market. So far over 75 percent of the workforce is believed to be working in the engineering and research and development phases of the product development to help bring the ideas of the company leadership to reality. That idea is to bring us an electric super car that will be faster than any other on the market and be a car that we’ll certainly admire.
Another good sign for this company is the fact that their prototypes have been spotted testing while wearing camouflage. These prototypes do appear to be close to what we’ve already been shown from the silhouettes and if the production version is anything close to what these are this will be an amazing product launch when it finally does come to market. Currently the company has the underpinnings to develop a production vehicle, but there hasn’t been any official news of what the production model will be and they haven’t brought a concept model to a show for us to look over and talk about yet either.
Even without the product on the market, Faraday Futures has a lot of positives going for it and will hopefully have a production model for us to admire on the market soon. The fact they now have 1,000 employees is a serious positive as well as the fact that they have some testing prototypes on a test track already. We get the pleasure of watching to see if this car company can bring the future automobile to market that will impress us and give us a great new vehicle to love and discuss.
