Everything We Know of the Honda Prologue
The 2024 Honda Prologue joins the automaker’s lineup as its first all-electric SUV. At first glance, the Prologue seemingly offers everything today’s EV drivers demand: a futuristic and clean body style, a connected cabin, and practical mile ranges.
The Prologue will be offered in four trims: the base model EX, the EX-L, the Touring, and the Elite. The 2024 Honda Prologue is on track for a release date in 2024. Before then, read on to learn more about what the Prologue has to offer and how it can fit into your busy life.
Futuristic Styling on the Inside and Out
Honda unveils the 2024 Prologue in a series of new images, giving drivers a glimpse of what this SUV has to offer. Honda badging on the front and minimalistic styling put the 2024 Prologue right in line with other EV body styles.
The front grille keeps traditional Honda styling making the electric powertrain somewhat of a mystery at first. 21-inch wheels, LED lighting, and a panoramic sunroof are other body style features that complete the look.
Offering more space than your traditional compact SUV, the Prologue will be larger than the CR-V, with dimensions comparable to the automaker’s mid-size Passport. Inside the cabin, drivers can look forward to a clean and comfortable design, a clutter-free console, and ample leg and headroom to stretch out.
Discover the Tech You Love
Expect the latest and the best when it comes to the Honda Prologue’s technology. Styling cues on the dash will mimic current Honda models, and there will likely be premium features like leather seating and improved tech as standard on the higher Limited trim, and optional on the mid-level trims.
Keeping in line with the competition, the Honda Prologue will feature a tablet-style infotainment display, wireless charging, and connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Prologue will also be equipped with Honda’s award-winning safety suite, Honda Sensing.
Honda Embraces Electric Power
The Honda Prologue will be the second time the automaker tries its hand at an electric vehicle, the first was the short-lived Clarity sedan. Honda is committed to success with the Prologue and has partnered with General Motors to build the SUV on the Ultium EV platform. Specific ranges of each trim and powertrain offerings are not yet known, however, numbers are expected to hover around 250-350 driving range.
