How Much is the Reimbursement and Which Owners Qualify?

The previous two model years of these electric vehicles qualify for the reimbursements. This means the 2021 and 2022 models of the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV are eligible for this money-back program. The maximum reimbursement amounts are $5,900 and $6,300, respectively. Only a small number of customers are eligible for this program. This is for those shoppers who purchase their vehicles during the 2022 calendar year, not for those that leased their vehicles. This money-back amount should help owners of the previous models of the Bolt EV models become a little more satisfied with their purchase decisions.

Are There Other Factors Involved?

The recall of more than 141,000 Chevrolet Bolt models since last August, coupled with the halted manufacturing, created a bit of distrust in the brand and the EV models built. This led to only 358 Bolts being sold in the first quarter before production resumed in April.
