This new diesel engine is the first turbocharged diesel engine in this class of vehicle to give you a bit of a different feeling when you head out on the road for the drive you need to make. This new diesel engine is expected to be able to offer you 136 horsepower and 236 lb.-ft. of torque while giving you as much as 40 mpg out on the highway. This will allow the Equinox that’s fitted with this engine to give you the fuel mileage that will rival and even exceed many of the different sedans and smaller vehicles on the roads that you drive.
