So many car companies have looked to try and take on the Tesla models and make something better but with mixed results. So far only Chevrolet has found a way to beat Tesla at their own game and the newly released Bolt will be the car that offers an affordable EV that we can all admire and enjoy. On the other end of the spectrum, the Model S continued to reign supreme with the new 100D that offers more power, range and more speed than ever before while still being able to be updated via over the air updates that make it easy for owners to enjoy the ride.
Now it seems we will see a car that can actually outperform the Model S at its own game. Most recently Henrik Fisker hinted at a new model that would be the car to give us the EV with the best overall numbers, but now we’ve seen the prototype and the plan is set for this new car to take on the Model S and beat it at what it does best. This new car will be called the Fisker EMotion and offers an electric driving dynamics that can eventually be equipped with the self-driving capabilities that owners can love once they have been approved.
The new EMotion promises not only cutting edge design, Fisker is the man who helped to design the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9 and the Fisker Karma before his company fell apart in 2013. You know if he was able to create those beautiful vehicles that a new sedan with his name on it would be something special for us to admire and be amazed by when it finally comes to the market.
Not only will this car offer exceptional design elements, but the numbers are off the charts. The EMotion will offer the highest top speed for an EV sedan at 161 mph, the longest driving range on a single charge at 400 miles and the most high tech batteries that are powered by graphene. Of course to aid in these performance numbers the car will have a design that’s made of composite carbon fiber and aluminum and offer a massive amount of aerodynamic features to make it possible for the car to make the most out of the range that’s offered from the batteries.
As for the self-driving features of this car, the EMotion will have the hardware already installed but won’t be activated until the driving is approved. Every seat on the inside of the EMotion will have their own infotainment screen to make it easy for everyone inside to use whatever app they have in mind. This will truly be an advanced car and beat out the Tesla Model S, but you can be sure it will come at a much higher price than the Model S, making it a much more exclusive car than the Tesla version of the luxury EV sedan.
