A new trim of the Toyota Tacoma for sale in 2024, the Trailhunter, is finally being talked about ahead of its official release.

As far back as January 2023, there’s been speculation and talks of leaked information about the newest model of Toyota Tacoma. Just a few days ago, Toyota teased the Trailhunter trim and its off-road package in photos.

So what do we know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma now, and when can we find out more?

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words – And We Have Multiple

Let’s start by talking about the appearance of the Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter in the photos that Toyota released. There are two photos that give us a lot of interesting information.

Photo One – The Front Headlights

One teaser image gives us a nice view of the front headlight on one side. The car has shiny metallic bronze paint and shows round LED headlights with LED daytime running lights just below.

You can see the Trailhunter name proudly displayed in small, neat lettering on the side of the headlight as a nice additional touch.

And if you look closely at the bottom left of this photo, you’ll see what is obviously the top of an all-terrain tire – meaning this trim means business in terms of off-road travel.

Photo Two – The Rear Bumper

The second image has, even more, to look at!

Above the sharp lines of the black bumper is a built-in compass that could be functional or simply for style, and below it is a bright red ARB tow hook.

You can see ARB on the bumper as well, and a bit of what may be the Toyota Tacoma’s styled back badging on the upper right.

Combined with the all-terrain tires, the tow hook and ARB badging can tell you a lot about the kind of power and capability the Trailhunter trim is going to have.

A Partnership with ARB to Create Toyota’s Best Off-Road Truck Yet?

The most important thing you can see in the most recent teaser pictures of the Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter is the ARB badging on the back of it.

ARB is an Australia-based off-road part maker that makes off-roading equipment that can rival and surpass the likes of the TRD Pro that other Toyota trucks are sporting.

This means that the 2024 Toyota Tacoma for sale will have an off-roading package on the Trailhunter trim that includes some powerful towing and all-terrain options. We’re eager to see how this package will stack up against other off-roading trucks on the market.
