What’s been added to the 2024 version?
Volvo created Polestar, and this offshoot company has grown into an excellent EV brand. The new 2024 Polestar 2 has a new front end, more standard features, and a new driving setup. The FWD model is gone, and in its place is an RWD version, which makes this electric sporty vehicle more fun and active on any road. New batteries and inverters improve the range and performance, which puts the Polestar 2 ahead of its counterparts from Tesla, Audi, and BMW.
Two excellent trims to choose from
The 2024 Polestar 2 comes in two trims, making it an easy choice for a luxury-laden electric vehicle. These two trims are the Long Range Single Motor and the Long Range Dual Motor. Considering there isn’t a standard range model, it seems odd to call them both long-range, but let’s not split hairs.
What does the Long Range Single Motor Include?
This model features one motor attached to the rear axle. It has an 82-kWh battery pack, which gives it 320 miles of driving range. The rear-mounted motor produced 299 horsepower, which enables this electric sports luxury car to hit 60 mph in only 5.9 seconds.

What does the Long Range Dual Motor give you
The 2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor brings a second motor and AWD to the mix. This gives the vehicle 421 horsepower and a driving range of 276 miles. The battery capacity is a little lower at 78-kWh, but this more powerful version can hit 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
The Long Range Dual Motor version, includes the same standard equipment but adds the Pilot Pack to the packaging. The Plus Pack continues to be an option for this Polestar 2. There’s also a third Performance Pack for this top model, which includes:
