From the Colorado to the Silverado 3500 HD, Chevrolet has a lot of truck options. Learn what’s new for 2025 before starting to build and price one.
What’s New With Chevrolet’s Truck Lineup?
The right truck makes getting even the toughest job done much more manageable. Chevrolet is well-known for its impressive truck lineup, with a pickup for every purpose. Before deciding to build and price a Colorado, Silverado 1500, or Silverado HD, consider what’s new for 2025.
What’s New With the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado?
Chevrolet hasn’t announced any changes for its midsize pickup truck, the Colorado. Experts don’t expect anything major. However, buyers could see a few new paint and customization options for 2025.
What’s New With the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?
The full-size Silverado 1500 is one of the most popular pickups available. All the changes for 2025 are relatively minor, but they’re worth mentioning.
Regarding tech, cruise control is now standard on the WT trim, and trailer brake control comes on all Silverado 1500s at the LT trim level and higher. The off-road model, the Silverado 1500 ZR2, also gets a new Bose seven-speaker sound system and parking sensors.
Aesthetically, Chevrolet is introducing two new colors: Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue. The automaker has also made a 20-inch High Gloss Black wheel available.
What’s New WIth the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado HD?
The Chevrolet Silverado HD received a mid-cycle update last year, but that doesn’t mean the automaker is resting on its laurels. There are still some minor updates for the 2025 model year, primarily focused on equipping heavy-duty trucks with more features.
First, front and rear parking sensors come standard on the 2025 HD ZR2. They’re also available on lower trims. The Silverado HD High Country gets standard adaptive cruise control, as well.
Stylistically, buyers will have a few new options depending on what trim level they choose. They can now add a Blackout package to Custom trim HD trucks, and the Midnight Edition Silverado HDs now come with 20-inch wheels.
Arguably, the most exciting upgrade for any of Chevy’s 2025 trucks is the addition of the Trail Boss package to the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD LT and LTZ models. The HD trucks can now be outfitted with a range of features for off-roading, plus an available 6.6L Duramax diesel powertrain.
What’s New With the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV?
Chevrolet’s recently released Silverado EV all-electric pickup is a carryover model from 2024 that gets only minor cosmetic changes. Buyers can now choose from seven exterior colors instead of two.
Build and Price Your Chevrolet Truck
With 2025 just around the corner, now is a great time to build and price a Chevrolet Colorado, Silverado 1500, or Silverado HD. The automaker may have stuck with minor changes for the upcoming model year, but buying a new Chevrolet pickup offers the broadest range of options.
Not sure which truck, trim level, or options packages will best fit a particular job? The best solution is to contact a local Chevy dealership to get answers to questions and additional information.
