The Sinister Look of the Nissan Maxima Midnight Edition

As for the power of this new edition, it retains the SR level 3.5-liter 300 horsepower V6 engine which is attached to a continuously variable transmission.  This CVT is actually attached to all versions of the Nissan Maxima.  Even though most of the time using a front-wheel drive car with a CVT is not a recipe for a sports car, Nissan seems to have this formula down pat; providing the Maxima with plentiful power and the ability to be a great sports sedan.
