2015 Audi TT

The Audi TT has a Model for Everyone

Most cars sell from their base model the best because we all want to get a good deal and usually feel this model gives us that opportunity. For those who will tend to shop a little higher because you want to have additional features aboard, there are always higher trim levels that bring better features, sometime as better engine, and certainly a higher price tag. Not always is the an option for a different fuel type(diesel) to power the car and allow you to enjoy the benefits a differently powered engine has to offer, but the Audi TT does offer this option.

If you relish the sportiness of a car and really want to gain the very most out of what it has to offer, the Audi TTS is the right choice to gain the most in performance. On the other hand, if you want to have the benefits of diesel power, the diesel TT Ultra is the right ticket for you to save money at the pump and enjoy the ride. For most of us the TT offers the base car that is a no-nonsense down the middle car powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine.

As with most base cars, the TT offers some great options to add to the car. The first of which is the difference between front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. In any Audi that offers the 4WD or AWD this choice is the highly touted and much loved Quattro AWD that has been giving Subaru fits for years for how much it resembles their AWD system.

Another choice to look at is the transmission which can be either a six-speed manual or the twin-clutch S-tronic six-speed automatic, a popular one for both new Audi dealers as well as used car dealers. For the name alone I would lean more toward the automatic, and it’s actually been a great performing transmission for quite a while as well.

Of course there are trim packages to consider on the TT with either the Sport (base) or the S line (which is a bit sharper). The S line adds 19-inch alloy wheels where the Sport has 18s and offers an upgraded bumpers as well as all-LED headlights. The S also shows up with a slightly lower ride height and firmer suspension.

As for the tech inside, the TT shows up with a great deal of amazing technology including an integrated digital display, a widescreen instrument cluster, two square screens for infotainment and navigation. Adding to the tech is an interior that is impressive and gorgeous to enjoy with enjoyable and soft materials throughout the car and a fantastic ride comfort that allows you and one passenger to relax and enjoy the ride (the rear seats are not worth the mention).

Overall, the TT makes a great car for anyone to fully enjoy and even in the base model it’s highly impressive. When opting for the Quattro AWD and the S trim you can enjoy a much nicer car with better handling and looks for not a lot more money than the base Sport model. If you fall into the category of wanting the TTS or the TT Ultra, they are available to you and will offer an amazing ride and the performance you would expect Audi to deliver.
