Let the Kids Get in on the Action

Summer brings out some of the best times we can have on the road and out in the fresh warm air that we feel and want to enjoy. One particular company has been built strictly from the idea and the quality feeling of giving kids a vehicle that has more power and more fun. This company is called KidStance and it was started by a couple that loves cars and wanted to make sure their children wouldn’t have just regular strollers and battery-powered models to enjoy.
After a few years of creating vehicles that are right for the children they have, Denver Pettigrew Jr. and his wife Victoria have grown this business into a four-person operation in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They have created the business out of customizing the power wheel style vehicles that are more fun for kids to enjoy out in the park and in the yard where they play. This couple took the idea of customizing their full-sized vehicle and added this dynamic to the vehicles they’ve created and it caught on like wildfire.
Typically the team at KidStance is asked to modify suspensions, add different wheels or put a bit more power in the vehicle. Some parents do go all out and one ordered a 1994 Porsche 964 Power Wheels that was customized with upholstery, a flip-out digital display, a rearview camera, and a digital dashboard. This vehicle came to a full $5,000 but the customer was absolutely thrilled with what was built and how their child was able to enjoy qualities that were also found in the full-sized version of the Porsche 964.
Over their time in business, KidStance has upgrades items such as a McLaren P1, a Porsche 911, and even a BMW Z4. They have a knack for creating some of the most impressive interiors and have added a high-quality ride to a variety of cool vehicles for kids to play and have a lot of fun. Because of the impressive way this team upgrades these kid vehicles they have a long waiting list of requests to offer those that want to allow their kids to have some of the most impressive and custom-built vehicles that kids can play with and have a vehicle that resembles their parents’ models.
